SECTION 7.0 - HNB-C Wireless Microphone Pairing, Channel Activation, and Charging
7.1 Wireless Microphones: Pairing and Power Overview
7.2 TM2 and TM3 Teacher Microphone - Channel 1 Activation (TM1 is outlined in a separate document)
NOTE:
Microphone pairing and pow-
ering is done after HNB-A is
terminated to HNB-C. Please
follow the steps outlined in 7.2
- 7.5 to activate the teacher
and student microphones.
Each HB-Rx Receiver mod-
ule has two (2) channels
o
perating at independent fre-
quencies (2.4GHz / 900MHz).
Channel 1 is for the Teacher
Microphone (model TM2 or
TM3).
Channel 2 is for the Student
Microphone (model SM1).
Step 1: Press the power (PWR) button on the
HB-Rx receiver module for Channel 1.
Power ON = Blue LED flashing.
Step 2: Press the ON/ OFF button on the
transmitter for the teacher microphone
(TM2 or TM3).
ON = Blue LED flashing or Blue LED
steady.
Tip: if the LED's on both units (HB-Rx and
transmitter) continue flashing then proceed
to Step 3 'Pairing'. If the LED's are solid
(ON, but not flashing) then the units linked
themselves and are ready to broadcast. Go
to Step 5 'Volume'.

HNB-C microphones are
factory 'paired' and should
connect when power is
pressed ON showing a
STEADY blue LED
condition.
ALL HNB Microphones can
be 'paired' to ANY HNB-C
unit in under ten (10)
seconds.
HNB-C microphones should
be fully charged to insure
proper operation.
